A Week of Learning and Good Vibes: PSA Workshop Recap with April Hulme & Chris Jennings at Siam Elite K9
And that’s a wrap! Yesterday marked the end of an incredible week-long PSA Workshop (Obedience & Protection) from September 12–17 at Siam Elite K9, Bangna.

The energy around the field all week was truly something special. It was a great mix of working dog handlers, PSA enthusiasts, and everyday owners who simply wanted to sharpen their dog’s obedience or work through day-to-day training challenges. Everyone brought an open mind, ready to share their experiences and learn from one another.

Fresh Insights from April & Chris
Having April Hulme and Chris Jennings on the field gave everyone a whole new perspective on the finer details of dog training:

April led the Performance Obedience sessions with a focus that went way beyond just giving commands. It was all about building genuine engagement, clearer handler-dog communication, and finding the joy in working together as a team. Her approach helped unlock a lot of hurdles handlers had been stuck on.

Chris brought incredible depth to the decoy and bite development side. Working through safe mechanics, drive building, and clear communication from the decoy’s standpoint, he helped handlers understand how to better read the action and keep their dogs confident, clean, and in control.

A Space to Connect and Grow Together
The best takeaway from the entire week wasn't just the drills on the field—it was seeing everyone come together, discuss real challenges with individual dogs, cheer each other on, and problem-solve as a community.

At Siam Elite K9, we truly believe that learning never stops. Bringing international competitors and trainers over to Thailand is our way of keeping ideas fresh, not just for our own team, but for the entire local dog community so we can all grow together.

A massive thank you to April, Chris, and everyone who came out and spent the week with us. See you all at the next one!
